Data Transmission

With the Data Transmission service, you can set up an easy, simple and mobile system for data reception and transmission that supports a number of data exchange protocols, and is easy to install, use and maintain. The Data Transmission service is accessible anytime and anywhere with the MTS GSM coverage and in roaming.

 

Data Transmission Usage Terms

To start using the Data Transmission service, you need to:

  • Have a CSD (GSM Data) enabled mobile terminal (a handset or a modem) linked by a cable, infrared or Bluetooth connection to your data procession device;
  • Activate the data transmission service for your mobile number by calling 111 to the MTS Contact Center. Upon activation of the service, you will get a special number for data reception and transmission;
  • Install and adjust proper software in your data procession device.

 

Attention! For some incoming calls from public network analogue exchanges to mobile telephones, their type may not be identified and is automatically determined as a voice call. In this case, for successful connection call special number for data transmission.
